Sara is a Math tutor with a degree in Math and French, bringing years of experience and a deep passion for helping students grow. She believes real learning happens when students build strong foundations, develop precision in their thinking, and see how concepts connect. Her approach is question-driven, encouraging students to discover their own problem-solving abilities. Sara values exploration, adaptability, and helping students navigate both academic challenges and life’s bigger decisions.
Is supportive towards their own process of learning, and can provide the conversation and details they need to sort out their own thoughts and emotions about their struggle. I love teaching my own students about their own learning styles, it helps them feel seen and heard.
Patient, full of questions and wants to make sure they are leaving with an understanding they can practice and develop on their own time. I can be challenging when I push my students to find the information within themselves, however it reveals what their answer would be under pressure, and allows me to help them sort through their thinking as needed.
Being able to give myself grace will help me manage pressure better, and that I do not need to be perfect but rather willing to improve.
Started skateboarding a few years ago and have allowed myself all the time and space to discover, and learn, and just enjoy being an amateur.
